the "big secret" of the group of silly washed-up hippy satanists who
comprise the OTO is that eating semen and menstrual fluid leads to
enlightenment.
The Gnostic practice comes from a passage in the Gospel of Eve, one of
41 Gospels excluded from the New Testament. Within the Gospel of Eve
Jesus Christ takes Mary Magdalene up a mountain and has sex with her.
At Jesus' climax he ejaculates in his hand, eats it, and says, "Thus
we ought to do, that we may live."

Bishop Epiphanius of Salamis validates such a Gnostic sect existed,
him witnessing their rites.

"And the pitiful pair, having made love, then proceed to hold up their
blasphemy to heaven, the woman and the man taking the secretion from
the male into their own hands and standing looking up to heaven. They
hold the impurity in their hands and pray . . and say "We offer you
this gift, the body of Christ." And then they consume it, partaking of
their shamefulness, and they say: "This is the body of Christ and this
is the Pasch for which our bodies suffer." . . When they fall into a
frenzy among themselves, they soil their hands with the shame of their
secretion, and rising, with defiled hands pray stark naked, as if
through such an action they were able to find a hearing with God."

-Bishop Epiphanius of Salamis, _Panarion Omnium Hæresium_ XXVI.IV-V

Most likely the practice was a result of practicing sperm retention
used in Tantra. Not always is it possible for a man to control
ejaculation from occurring during orgasm in the beginning. All acts
being sacred, the couple or group of people shared in consuming the
sperm and made it a part of their union rite.

The Christian tantrika rites witnessed by Bishop Epiphanius of Salamis
were undoubtedly secret or initiatic rites. We may thus conclude that
since Epiphanius witnessed them, that he must have been initiated in
order to witness them. If so, then he would have been formally
obligated to the secrecy of the rites, a procedure common to all
tantrik rites practiced in that century and era. Only thus could he
have witnessed them. Thus, his publication of certain of the details
of the rite, would have constituted a formal violation of his vow of
secrecy in connection with the rite. As Epiphanius was therefore a
perjured liar, we cannot place a complete confidence in such details as
he may recite in his composition. Again, as Epiphanius violated his
sworn Oath, we must assume that his soul is now burning in Hell, in
accordance with the Christian mythos of the tantrika rite in which he
was initiated.

Therefore in order to liberate Bishop Epiphanius burning in Hell,
visualise yourself entering the place of Hell as Chenrezig, appearing
in whatever religous symbolic form such as Jesus that the sentient
being might recognize, and pronouncing a sacred mantra which will
liberate beings. If possible, visualize also delivering to Epiphanius
the consecrated sacrament of bread and wine. Thus, you could liberate
him from burning in Hell. Everything in sentient existence is
transitory, even the fires of Hell. Then think "May all beings have
happiness and and the causes of happiness. May all beings be freed
from suffering and the causes of suffering, for the sake of the living
Jesus."

I tend not to believe in a sole living Christ, such as it is
programmed in rogue or otherwise innocent Rosicrucian circles.

In any event the good and right Bishop's attempt at a Coup de Grâce
obviously failed, thanks to such notable warlocks as Aleister Crowley
and Paschal Beverly Randolph. Certainly neither of the two are at this
moment burning in hell, or among the commoner, as much as Fraternitas
Rosæ Crucis and their English, and not German, proponents wish they
were.

Hell, I once heard from the pulpit, has a special place for hypocrites
as well.

According to qabalist doctrine, in every generation there lives one who
might become the Messiah. And on earth, there are Thirty-Six
compassionate illumined ones working to save mankind: but they do not
know who they are.

That sounds reminiscent of the Sabazian Mysteries as accounted by
Clement of Alexandria. They too as I understand it believed very
devoutly in a Messiah. As well were there an untold number of
illuminated ones. Perhaps it's the same in Kabbalah doctrine, but it
was generally the duty of the illuminated ones in the Sabazian
Mysteries through incantations and rites to resurrect the Messiah in
every incarnation should the Messiah fail to become adequately
enlightened to maintain conscious awareness after death. The power to
resurrect the Messiah was ultimately abused in disillusioning him so
that the illuminated ones could either collaborate together or set out
individually to claim the Messiah's Divine Right to rule the Universe,
or destroy it.

On par?

Again, I don't ascribe to it.

Theres a reference in Godwins - Lamed Vav, the 36 righteous men in each
generation around whom the world revolves, saints unknown even to
themselves. A similar Islamic tradition posits the existence of 4,000
such men. I tripped over it yesterday when I was musing about Gollum,
of all things! :-)

Hmmm. Thanks, I had not seen this but then I dont study Jewish Mysticism,
even though the Western Qabalah originated therein.

It originates in the Talmud and was devolped further in mystical
circles(such as the baal shems) and amongst the hasidim. They're sometimes
refered to as the Nistarim Tzadikkim or "Hidden Saints"( or righteous ones).
See Ginzburg, G. Scholem, J. Mintz, et al.

There's a Wiki article as well.

nothing on this on that page. Where is the reference? Also, is it Qabalistic
doctrine as Satyr states or just some myth? Assuming Satyr can tell the
difference of course...

What little there is on wikipedia suggests an alternative interpretation
might be that Epiphanius was writing propaganda.
